A boss I had when I worked in a shop as a student was fond of saying "don't come to me with problems, come to me with solutions". He was quite right and I've never forgotten it.
There is so much in the media about why we need to reach net zero and the implications of not doing so - and rightly so. But what we really need is to cut through this noise and come up with simple solutions to allow us all to get on with it.

Giving businesses of all sizes an objective way to help achieve their climate goals will be great for our planet but may also provide consistent, measurable information which will allow stakeholders, investors and lenders to make decisions about those businesses and give the businesses access to funding and support available to those who are serious about their green credentials.
“If a large organisation employing a wide range of skillsets finds the pathway to net zero unclear and yearly targets challenging to define, we guessed that smaller business owners might be scratching their heads too.”
